The Beaverhead Search and Rescue relies heavily on equipment owned by volunteers of the organization.  Many members use personal vehicles, ATVs, snow machines, and boats for search and rescue efforts.  The organization owns a few pieces of equipment including an ATV, snowmobile, various equipment trailers with specialized rescue equipment, a kitchen trailer, and an incident command trailer.

Members also use personal gear other than vehicles for searches.  GPS units, back packs, skis, snowshoes, and a good pair of hiking boots are essential to the mission.  Back pack inventory should follow the National Search and Rescue standards.  If you would like to see what that includes, then click here.
